Next to the Holman building is the Medical Block which shows an abrupt change from the ornate to the more simplified designs as the twentieth century progressed. The only suggestion of a style is the pilasters that divide the lower story- a classical element. While other buildings retained more decoration during this era, the structure depicts the architectural trend for downtown buildings.
