The block-like wood facing of the left building is called rusticated, a technique usually done with stone. This 1880's City Taxi Building is the oldest wooden building in Hot Springs. The structure attached to the right has an art deco first level. Zelliptical windows and a two-tone color scheme are the major elements of this 1930s design.
