(5) Garage
Built: 1913
Address: 713 North River Street
Facing material did not change in Hot Springs with the advent of the car, as is evident by this garage. Hot Springs is unusual because stone construction was less prevalent elsewhere in the state after the first few years of the 1900s. A stepped parapet on the second level highlights this symmetrically designed structure in Hot Springs. The rear facade shows that the building has a medium pitched gable roof and two large sections of three-tiered windows.
